How long does delivery take?

We understand that when you place an order online you expect speedy delivery times to handle your consignments. We will deliver to all territories next day, for some of the more remote areas, delivery can take up to 2-3 days.  Same day delivery is only available for commercial customers in Hong Kong and Kowloon areas, although cut off times and stock availability do apply.
Please call (852) 3523 1087  for urgent deliveries. We endeavour to keep all items well stocked so that we can ensure rapid delivery times where possible. This isn’t always possible with such a large range of items, however, if you require your item urgently, please call (852) 3523 1087.

Do I need to be home to accept the delivery?

We would always suggest that there be someone home to accept the delivery of an item as it avoids unnecessary delays with your order. Should someone not be home at the time of delivery why not leave us instructions where we can leave the item safely or have it delivered to your work place.

What payment methods do we have?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal.

All of the payment choices are available on the final payment page in our fully secured shopping cart. Should you choose to pay by credit card all transactions are securely transmitted through the AsiaPay payment gateway which is secured with the latest encryption software for your complete safety.

Can I place an order if I don't have a credit card?

Absolutely! We accept payment made by cash.

Is your web site secure?

Yes. We have secured our web site using the latest 256 bit SSL (secure socket layers) security certificates which means that all data either viewed or entered on any of our pages beginning with https has been encrypted before it is transferred. You will know the page is secure when you see the padlock icon on your browser or alternatively anytime the web site address begins with https.

Cartridges Direct is also certified Hacker Safe by the McAfee Hacker Safe program. This program scans the web site daily and alerts us of any potential security issues

What are the delivery charges?

Any order with Cartridges Direct over HK$500 is delivered to you free of charge. Any order under HK$500 will be charged a flat rate of HK$60.
If you require a special delivery or an express delivery then additional charges may apply.

Will I receive an invoice with my order?

All of our customers will receive a printed invoice or receipt of sale with their order
a copy will also be emailed to you as soon as the order is shipped. Our shopping cart will generate a receipt once your order has been placed that will break down the products ordered and delivery costs, if any.

Can I pick up my order?

Absolutely, our warehouse is located at Unit 705, APEC Plaza, 49 Hoi Yuen Road, Kwun Tong. Please make sure that you place the order through our fully secured web site first and then call ahead prior to collection so that your order can be made ready.

What if I ordered the wrong item?

Where ever possible we're happy to accept product back that has been ordered incorrectly, after all these things happen. If this has happened then please call (852) 3523 1087 or email [email protected] to arrange the return of the product. Please keep in mind that for us to accept an item back it must be in saleable condition and in an unopened box.

What are your support hours?

Getting in touch with us has never been easier now that we have introduced Live Chat on all of the pages on our web site. An operator is available from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and outside of these hours your message will be logged in our support ticketing system where one of our staff will return your message the next business day. Are your products guaranteed?

Absolutely, yes! All products distributed by Cartridges Direct are genuine items and therefore fully guaranteed by their manufacturers. In most cases all of the original manufacturers have their own set procedures and guidelines that we must follow. Please call customer service on (852) 3523 1087 should you need details.

What does OEM mean?

OEM is short for Original Equipment Manufacturer. The original printer manufacturer is usually referred to as the OEM. Very often this is why you will hear the term OEM cartridge.This term is often used to explain a genuine or original product.

What are Compatible Cartridges?

Compatible cartridges are usually referred to as being 100% new and have been designed to be interchangeable with an OEM cartridge; many often state that they only contain 100% new components. They usually offer the consumer savings over an OEM cartridge.
However, this is not often the case now as the price of the product has been beaten down by such intense competition meaning that the quality of the product has suffered badly. Many critical components are no longer replaced so the cartridge will often fail halfway through the life cycle.
